Château Saint Michel can accommodate large groups. You can contact us for all kinds of occasions. You can contact us for parties (like weddings, anniversaries and family reunions) but also for business meetings such as conferences, presentations, courses and company parties. The castle, built by Napoleon III, has several authentic halls dating back to 1850. These halls are ideally suited for organising all sorts of activities.
Accommodation and facilities
Apart from six suites on the ground floor, there are also thirteen double and twelve triple rooms. All rooms have a washbasin with hot and cold water. Most rooms also have a bathroom. There are showers and toilets on every floor and there is also a lift. The guestrooms on the ground floor are accessible to the disabled. To ensure the privacy, comfort and peace of our guests, we do not allow pets. Smoking is prohibited in certain areas.
Walking, cycling and horseback riding
If you are looking for peace and relaxation then Château Saint Michel is the place to be. The castle and the surrounding area offer plenty of possibilities. You can take beautiful walks in the gorgeous surroundings, go for romantic bicycle trips or go on long horseback riding tours in the forests. Why not drop by the local Tourist Information Office? There you will find magnificent walking and cycling tours in the immediate vicinity of the castle.
Tennis and golf
Would you like to play tennis or golf? There are several tennis courts within walking distance of the castle and you can play golf in the cities of Beaune, Chalon sur Sâone, Autun and Dijon. These four golf courses are not far from the castle.

Beautifully located
Château Saint Michel is located in the midst of the vineyards in the south of Burgundy. This castle was built in the 19th century, is completely immured and is situated on the top of a hill in the center of the wine village Rully. Château Saint Michel is positioned in the middle of a monumental and well-maintained park with impressive and old trees. The park measures three hectares. The castle is on the famous Route des Grands Vins de Bourgogne.
